About
Art Building B is one of seven buildings that make up the Art Complex, located at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Sam Houston Avenue and 21th Street.
The two-story wood frame building was originally used for jewelry classes, but became studio space for the photography program in the mid-2000s.
Building B was once identified by SHSU as the Brumby Building [1]. The general consensus is that the structure may have originally been one building of a small apartment/hotel complex, as three two-bedroom/one-bath apartments still exist on the second floor.
