Bearkat Village is an apartment complex located at the intersection of Bowers Boulevard and Montgomery Road and south of Bowers Stadium.
The complex consists of 13 buildings, 11 of which are three-story, fully-furnished apartments with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and living area. Two single-story buildings house a clubhouse, offices, and mail and laundry facilities.
The $14.5 Million complex, designed to house up to 500 upperclassmen, was the first new residence hall constructed since the 1960s. The apartments replaced several facilities that had recently been demolished -mainly the Malone Apartments and the Departmental Dorms.
The complex also features a community center, mail and laundry facilities, and an outdoor recreation area.
