About

The Animal Sciences Lab was one of the buildings located at the Horticulture Center, southwest of main campus along Avenue M.

Also known as the Nutria House [1], the 1,800 square-foot metal frame building was demolished around 1984 [2]. Its foundation still exists and is used as an outdoor storage area.

Long after the nutria scurried off into Robinson Creek and the building was demolished, the cement footprint still exists and is used by horticulture students for storage and supplies.
