Linda Mafrige

Linda (Halliday) Mafrige was the wife of SHSU alumnus Ron Mafrige.

A graduate of Ohio State University, she was president of the Harris County Home Economics Association and received the organization's Home Economist of the Year award.
The Mafriges established several scholarships and endowments that provide scholarships at Texas colleges and universities. In 1997, the Smith-Hutson Business Administration Building auditorium was named in honor of Ron and Linda in recognition of his 1994 endowment honoring Glenn Adams, the late president of Ron Mafrige Enterprises.
